Annual report 2007

Highlights 2007

InfoCare became a considerable larger company group during 2007 as a result of the merger between InfoCare AS and Powermill Group and of course this was the most important event of all during last year. More extensive comments about the merger are found in several parts of this annual report.

“A perfectly performed activity” was the overall opinion we got from Norsk Tipping when we successfully completed a major roll out project where we installed 3.524 flat screens on site at equally many commissioner sites all over Norway. During the installation time we travelled close to 200.000 km, carried 250 tons of equipment - interior and flat screens and installed 88 km of patch cable.

Our take over of the bankrupt workshop operation Strax AS in June brought a major and rapid expansion of the InfoCare Consumer Services area - preferably in Norway and Denmark, where four separate geographical departments and close to 200 employees were involved.

Elkjøp, one of the largest consumer electronic warehouses - and Strax most important client - entered into a new contract with Powermill (with InfoCare as a sub contractor in Norway) just before realisation of the Powermill-InfoCare merger. At the same time Elkjøp routed all their service activities to Powermill in Finland. The agreement includes workshop repairs, on-site and delivery services.

A strategic acquisition and a reinforcement of consumer related services within tripple play (TV, broadband and IP-telephony) was made when the Swedish company Nätverksakuten became a part of the Powermill Group, a few months before the merger with InfoCare. Since the consumer market will continue to grow both in volume and complexity the incorporation of Nätverksakuten brings valuable competitiveness into our portfolio of services.

In June InfoCare signed a Nordic Partner agreement with TietoEnator, at group level, which is an extension from the earlier agreement covering TietoEnator Processing & Network. Also in June, TietoEnator signed an agreement with ÅF, Ångpanneföreningen in Sweden, with InfoCare as their service partner for on site support. The ÅF Group offer highly qualified services and solutions for industrial processes, infrastructure projects and the development of products and IT systems. ÅF is also one of the leading names in certified third-party testing and inspection work. By this agreement InfoCare act as an extended support organisation at all the 60 geographical spread company sites.

Another important Partner agreement during 2007, covering Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden was signed with CSC (Computer Sciences Corporation).InfoCare is assigned to handle hardware- and software services for CSC end customers like Vin & Spritcentralen, Bombardier, ISS, TDC och Vesta.

In October TeliaSonera Finland signed a nationwide contract with InfoCare. This contract covers traditional on-site services as well as additional - such as environmental reconditioning and scrapping services planned for 2008.
