Highlights 2008
We signed an extension of existing agreement with Norsk Tipping. This includes installations and services also connected to Norsk Tippings approx 7.000 new gaming terminals (Multix). The contract still covers Maintenance Services for Norsk Tippings approx 3.400 lottery terminals.
A strategic agreement as preferred supplier was written with Logica in Sweden, covering installations and IT services for Logicas some 150 end customers. More than 100 new colleagues who until than had carried out these services within Logica now add competence as well as branch knowledge to us. And in Norway, Logica, with InfoCare as their supplier of services, won a contract with NAV (Nye Velferds- og Arbeidsetaten) regarding Services at NAVs desterilized offices in Norway.
In January 2008 InfoCare acquired 49,9% of Igus Data AB which contributed to an important improvement of our existing Lifecycle Services offering. This transaction adds competence and experience in services as handling of clients, data erasing and asset recovery.
InfoCare Estonia succeeded in closing their first major on-site contract during 2008. The agreements - a result of our existing good relation as a preferred supplier for Viasat in Sweden - comprised more than 1000 parabolic installations nationwide in Latvia and were carried out by a subcontractor company.
An important agreement with Xerox made InfoCare the largest independent service provider within printing in Sweden. Our ISO 9001 Quality certification and the 14001 Environmental certification assures the end customers a quality approved and environmental positive level of services.
Two local examples of InfoCares capability of showing repeatedly positive economic results are the Gasell Award in Denmark and the AAA Award in Sweden – both gained by InfoCare - again. Out of 302.600 evaluated companies in Sweden, only 2 372 show highest credit rating four years at a row – and among them you find InfoCare.
At the end of the year InfoCare and Expert Svenska AB signed a frame agreement of installation and delivery services comprising both brown & white goods as well as IT related products to Experts more than 200 stores in Sweden
In June we renewed our contract as preferred service partner to Fujitsu Services in Denmark and Sweden.
